July 27th Masterclass with DCSA

Hi all! Just wanted to inform you on the Masterclass I will be running on July 27th. It will be hosted by Dublin Central School of Acting.

This workshop is aimed at those wanting to genuinely explore the possibility of making Acting their career and who want to pursue some training in order to achieve this.

It would also suit those who have been out of the industry for a long time and those who worked as an amateur and now want to work out how to make it a profession.

Time: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Venue: The Central Hotel Exchequer Street.Dublin 2.
Cost: E59

This months course will include the following:
The basis of script/character interpretation
Improvisation- Everyone can improvise
The differences between stage/screen acting
Photo/CV/Agent
The Casting Director-The Producer-The Director-The Call
The mistakes frequently seen by Casting Directors by both experienced and inexperienced actors
The casting process from Head shots to Auditions to offers
The audition-your calling card-the chance to show off what you can do
How to communicate effectively in the interview-cut out the negatives and focus on the positives
How to prepare for a Film audition and maximize your chances of success.
